After the Race

Thanks to all my contributors. I actually managed to ride 25 miles up lots of hills - my chain fell off twice and I had one flat tire - but I exceeded my goal and had a great time. Was exhausted the next day but very satisfied. I have raised $570 so far thanks to all of you.

Training Day 2

...So I just completed a 25 minute workout and it was invigorating. I intended to work out at 6:30 pm but of course being a wife, a mother, an entrepeneur and (an employee) time quickly sped away from me. Although it wa sonly day 2, tonight could have been a night where you'd want to throw in the towel or lose focus simply because of other responsibilities. But I was determine. Tonight I reminded myself that I have a choice, a choice that the persons I'm riding for don't and in some instances won't have. That was motiviation enough to put on my tennis, strap on my ipod, helmet and pull up my gloves and MAKE AN EFFORT.

I glad for the inspiration. Lets see I make it tomorrow. :)
