A bike-a-thon. A celebration. An inspiring weekend
Ride for Hope is an annual fund-raising cycling event held in the Bahamas. It is open to everyone: the young and young at heart, seasoned cyclists, raw beginners, weekend warriors, kids, moms and dads, grandparents. We raise money for cancer caring and treatment programs. We also raise hope for those afflicted with cancer and awareness among the population at large that together we can make a difference!
We come together as participants, volunteers, sponsors, and donors and channel energy and resources into something much greater than the event itself. Participants themselves have called the Ride for Hope "a truly inspiring weekend." We celebrate the victories of cancer survivors and the memories of those who lost their battles. We rally for those who are in the fight now. Every dollar, without exception, raised by participants is applied to the improvement of programs for cancer treatment and care facilities.
